Church helping victims of Albany fires

ALBANY - Victims of the massive fire in Albany 10 days ago that destroyed 12 buildings are getting a little relief.

Victory Church is passing out donated items Wednesday.

For the past week, the church has been collecting donations for the 77 people who lost everything in the fires on Sheridan Avenue and Quail Street.

Every family that was victim to the fire will get support, but they were required to bring proof that they lived there.

Victory Church on Quail Street was hosting the event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
