Blindsided business tries to help workers after payroll company shutdown

The investigation continues into MyPayrollHR, the Clifton Park payroll company that folded, blind-siding thousands of employers and employees.

A Colonie business says it's out thousands, but is working to make things right.
The Visiting Angels company provides home health care and living assistance services to area senior citizens. They say their bank accounts were hit for more than $10,000.
To say it's been an inconvenience and that they're angry might be an understatement.
When their employees noticed money had been removed from their bank accounts, the local franchise owners swung into action almost right away. They began hand-delivering paper checks. They plan to continue doing payroll in-house until they sign on with a new vendor.
