Volunteers participate in annual Tulip Dig and Sale

ALBANY-- It's that time again when the city says good-bye to the tulips. 

The annual Tulip Dig and Sale took place on Saturday welcoming those who are interesting in purchasing the flowers.

Volunteers have the opportunity to purchase 30 bulbs for $5 in exchange for assistance in preparing the park's beds for the summer season. Any remaining bulbs will be sold first come, first serve on Sunday at the Park's lake house at 9:00 am. 

Proceeds from the Tulip Dig and Sale benefit the Washington Park Conservancy's efforts to restore and improve Albany's historic Washington Park.
