Voters reject proposal for new Halfmoon-Waterford firehouse

The Halfmoon-Waterford Fire District will not be getting a new firehouse.

Voters rejected a $12.3 million bond to build the new firehouse on Middletown Road. The vote was 312 in favor, 366 against.

The current firehouse is more than 50 years old.
