Westerlo firefighter to be added to Wall of Honor

September 19, 2019 08:59 PM

Donald Urbano from Westerlo served with the Albany Fire Department for 36 years before his death from cancer in 2016.

He was a lieutenant with the rescue squad and a first responder at the World Trade Center on 9/11.

This Saturday, his name will be added to the International Firefighter's Wall of Honor in Colorado Springs.

Several members of local fire departments will attend the ceremony.
Our sister station in Colorado Springs plans to cover the event and we hope to have more on this story over the weekend.
