Warrensburg High student accused of choking another student unconscious

WARRENSBURG - A Warrensburg High student is accused of choking another student.

The sheriff’s department says the 17-year-old student was sitting at a table on Tuesday, when 18-year-old Kyle Boland approached him from behind and put him in a chokehold.

The student lost consciousness, fell to the floor and hit his head.

Boland is now charged with strangulation. He’s due in court at a later date.
