Water main repairs underway in South Troy after big traffic delays

TROY - A water main break continued to cause headaches in Troy as of late Tuesday afternoon.

The pipe burst Tuesday morning just over the Menands Bridge down the hill from Hudson Valley Community College.

Teams from Troy used a stethoscope to pinpoint the break. Once it was located underground, work crews were popping manholes and digging.

The break caused major delays during the morning commute. No boil water advisory was issued.
