The festival brings along with it activities, exhibits, and food.

"Waterford came into existence in 1794," says longtime Mayor J. Bert Mahoney, "and it served as the model for governing other nearby communities. We are proud to continue the canal town tradition which has been a part of Waterford's heritage almost since its founding."

The festival is a two day event. It goes until 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Sunday.
