We Salute You: Raymond Boulia

NewsChannel 13 salutes Army Private First Class Raymond Boulia of German Flatts, but who has family in Niskayuna.

He served his country from 1942-1945 in the invasion of Normandy. He worked in the medical detachment of the 411th Infantry. He also served in Germany, Africa, and the Middle East as well as the Battle of the Bulge.

He was awarded several medals -- including the Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal, World War II Victory Medal, Combat Medical Badge and Honorable Service Lapel Button.
