Whitehall boy diagnosed with brain cancer meets football star Rob Gronkowski

John Hoague-Rivette, the 10-year-old honors student diagnosed with brain cancer got an amazing surprise Monday. 

With the help of the Make-a-Wish Foundation, John was able to meet Rob Gronkowski, a former player from the New England Patriots. 


John is a student at Whitehall Elementary. In May, he was diagnosed with a grade 3 glioma tumor on his brain stem. 

"There are not enough THANK YOU'S in the world I could give for seeing John smile today" posted Carrie Jean, his mother.
