Selkirk man charged with Albany robbery

ALBANY - A Selkirk man is charged with an Albany robbery.

Police say 44-year-old Willie Buxton walked into the Xtra Mart on New Scotland Avenue Saturday evening, passed a note saying he had a gun – and fled with an undetermined amount of cash.

He turned himself in hours later.

Buxton is a parolee. He was previously charged for two robberies in 2011.
