The heat is going to have an impact on those who work in the food industry.

There will be no races on Saturday in Saratoga. NYRA has cancelled that day's racing due to the heat. However, there will still be lots of people in Saratoga Springs who have been planning their getaways for a while now.

Now, restaurants say what was going to be a busy weekend should now be even busier. Keeping guests and employees cool will be a top priority. That includes employees like those who work in pizza places with ovens that can heat up to 800 degrees.

First responders everywhere are also gearing up for a busy weekend.

See what everyone's doing to try and stay cool by watching the video of Jacquie Slater's story.
