Young girl's practical joke prompts major police response

A young girl’s practical joke prompted a major police presence in California.           

The California Highway Patrol got reports there was a young girl in the backseat holding up a piece of paper with the words: "Help me, she's not my mom!! help!!"

Six units rushed in to pull the car over.

Troopers discovered that it was just a joke, and the girl did it for fun.          

Eventually they were allowed to leave, but not before an officer snapped a picture of the sign.
