There was no public press briefing from Gov. Cuomo Thursday. However, NewsChannel 13 is continuing to follow up on the statements the governor made Wednesday in response to the sexual harassment allegations made against him.

We spoke with Albany Law School Professor Mary Lynch. She also has experience as a prosecutor. She says the case is going to depend on what the investigation finds about the circumstances around each of these incidents.

For example, if it was an intimate part of the body touched, how the touch happened, and if the touch was supposed to gratify a sexual desire.

Lynch says those are all things investigators still need to find out.

Though the governor says he's deeply sorry and that he never intended to make anyone uncomfortable, Lynch says that doesn't mean much for the investigation or potential trial afterword.

Hear what else Lynch says needs to be investigated by watching the video of Emily Burkhard's story.
