WASHINGTON, D.C. - Vice President Kamala Harris organized a dinner Tuesday night for her female colleagues in the Senate.
It's the first known time that Harris hosted lawmakers in the vice presidential residence at the Naval Observatory since moving in April.
All 24 female senators were invited - 16 Democrats and eight Republicans. The senators dined on roasted mahi-mahi and ended the night with strawberry rhubarb pastries and ice cream.
The vice president also made cheese puffs.
