ALBANY - Students took their climate strike inside the state Capitol on Friday.

They're calling on legislative action to combat climate change around the world.

The movement has been going strong since last August, when teen climate activist Greta Thunberg began her "Fridays for Future" campaign.

The objective is to have students strike from school as a form of civil disobedience for change.

Students delivered letters to elected officials on Friday to make their voices heard.
