Morse has been embattled in controversy since last year when he was accused of abusing his wife and daughter.

Morse has adamantly denied the allegations, saying drugs have ripped apart his family. However, the mayor says he's proud of what he's accomplished in the position and wants to continue to fight for Cohoes.

During his speech, the mayor touted three years of no tax increases, improvements to roads and sidewalks and refurbishing the Cohoes Music Hall as some of his accomplishments.
