Cynthia Nixon hopeful for primary upset

September 13, 2018 06:33 PM

Cynthia Nixon may be the underdog, but she says she's fine with that.

Nixon has been out in recent days talking all about how experience in political office doesn't matter to voters anymore -- which she claims was proven when President Trump was elected.

She's also been pointing to other upsets recently in elections in New York and around the country to suggest that polls are often wrong.

The last poll had her trailing Governor Cuomo by more than 40 points.

NewsChannel 13 will have all the results of the primary on WNYT.com, NewsChannel 13 Live at 10 on My 4 and NewsChannel 13 Live at 11.
