Jury deliberations continue in retrial of ex-state Senate leader

July 16, 2018 05:03 PM

Monday marks day two of jury deliberations in the re-trial of former State Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos.

Prosecutors say Skelos used his office to get his son, Adam, a no-show job.

Skelos says he was only trying to help his son through tough times.

Both were convicted in 2015, but the case was overturned on appeal after a Supreme Court decision narrowed the legal definition of corruption.
