NewsChannel 13 has been profiling all seven candidates. The last candidate we are profiling is Erin Collier.

She grew up in a working-class family on a farm in Cooperstown. She graduated from Cornell University and recently worked as an economist for the Obama administration addressing poverty.

Collier says she wants to fight income inequality, protect immigrants, and guarantee health care for all.

“I stand for Medicare for all because I believe health care is a right, not a privilege, and I think that everybody should have health care no matter your age, income level, your gender, if you have a preexisting condition. Health care for all,” she explained.

Collier is facing off against Jeff Beals, David Clegg, Antonio Delgado, Brian Flynn, Gareth Rhodes and Pat Ryan.

Polls are open on Tuesday, June 26, from noon to 9 p.m. NewsChannel 13 will have the results for you on and our newscasts.
