The president's favorability rating is at 35 percent. That's up from 32 percent in January.

The poll also asked about one of the president's biggest priorities. The majority of those polled, 52 percent, say Congress should not include Trump's border wall funding to avoid a second partial government shutdown.

The poll also asked how New Yorkers view new laws just passed by the now Democratic-controlled legislature. Sixty-nine percent believe the Child Victims Act will be good for the state.

Fifty percent of voters polled are in favor of the Dream Act.

When it comes to the Reproductive Health Act, only 47 percent are in favor. Sixty-four percent of Republicans polled say the new law will not be good the state.
