Gov. Cuomo endorses Tish James for attorney general

Governor Cuomo endorsed fellow Democrat Tish James for New York attorney general on Tuesday.

James is currently the public advocate in New York City and one of several Democrats running for attorney general.

Both Democrats and Republicans will hold their statewide conventions starting Tuesday and choose their candidates for governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general and comptroller. Those candidates will then be placed on the ballot for the September primary.
