Cuomo touts importance of Northway upgrades

COLONIE - Construction on the Northway between Exits 3 and 5 is nearing completion.


Governor Andrew Cuomo was at the Desmond Hotel Wednesday morning, touting the work that's been done.

He says the Albany International Airport is a regional asset that's changed over the last decade.

The governor says opening Exit 3 is only a metaphor of all the upgrades coming to the Capital Region.

He says this will improve the quality of life for both commuters and residents in the region.
