Saratoga Springs likely to keep current form of government

SARATOGA SPRINGS - It's looking more like Saratoga Springs will not change its form of government.

After all ballots were counted last week on the proposal to change to a council-manager form of government, the "no" votes were up by 10.

However, it wasn't over because absentee ballots had been sent to 18 members of the military.

Service personnel had until close of business Monday to get them in.

As of 4 p.m. Monday, none had been received.
