COHOES - There's another Democrat running for mayor of Cohoes this year.

City Councilman Steve Napier says there's a need for change in City Hall, for the good of the city. He announced on Monday that he is running against the incumbent mayor, Shawn Morse and Bill Keeler, a former Major in the New York State Police.

Another Democrat, former City Treasurer Peter Frangie, is expected to announce on Thursday that he is running for mayor of Cohoes.
