Troy police are investigating two shootings in two days.

The most recent happened near 6th Avenue and 101st Street around midnight Monday into Tuesday.

Police say a 43-year-old man was shot in the leg and stabbed in the torso in an attempted robbery.

This following a shots fired incident around noon Monday as a man was getting out of a car at 4th and Division streets. No one was injured in that one.

Police do not believe the two incidents are related.
