The race to represent parts of Saratoga and Washington counties in the New York State Assembly is shaping up to be one of the most contentious in the region.

Dave Catalfamo is trying to unseat incumbent Democrat Carrie Woerner, who is seeking her fourth term.

Catalfamo has never held elective office, but the Republican is confident he will beat Woerner because of an enrollment advantage of more than 7,000 voters. He portrays himself as the candidate who supports law enforcement.

Hear why both candidates think they will come out on top by watching the video of Mark Mulholland's story.
