A six-time convicted felon has managed to evade law enforcement for months, and now, authorities think he may be dead. However, nobody can prove it.

Aaron Buckner’s attorney told court officials Thursday that his client died of a heart attack back in April. However, there is no death certificate, and there is no record of an obituary anywhere.

A judge was supposed to sentence Buckner in May on drug charges, but he never appeared in court.

The case against him is still pending.
