SARATOGA SPRINGS - A high-tech center in Saratoga Springs will soon be the new home of a charity.
The Masie Center is being sold to the Franklin Community Center.
Demand for help from Franklin Community Center's food pantry and other social services was rising before the pandemic. Now it's through the roof.
They wanted to expand their services to keep helping those in need.
Thanks to a $1 million donation from Mike and Stacey Arpey, they were able to do just that.
The Franklin Community Center is expected to close on the Masie Building on Thursday.
Hear the Arpeys explain why they're so passionate about the work Franklin Community Center does by watching the video of Mark Mulholland's story.
