Saratoga Springs now has a unique new court dedicated to crimes committed by people who are homeless.

The city was tired of a backlog of minor offenses committed by people who are homeless and failed to show for their court date. So Judge Francine Vero has started a homeless court.

The judge partnered with Transitional Services Association, who assigned two people to reach out directly to the homeless and make sure they get to court.

While they're getting them to court, they connect them with services to help them get on their feet.

Learn more about how it's all working out by watching the video of Mark Mulholland's story.
