SARATOGA SPRINGS - Organizers of a Black Lives Matter rally in Saratoga Springs say police used military terrorism in response to a peaceful protest, while Blue Lives Matter protesters received no attention from police.

It comes as new cell phone video has surfaced.

The two groups were both in Congress Park Thursday night.

Saratoga Springs police say they made three arrests after some of the Black Lives Matter supporters blocked traffic and refused to leave the roadway.

The organizers of the Black Lives Matter rally sent out a statement. They say the city of Saratoga Springs used military terrorism in response to a peaceful protest, while aggressive Blue Lives Matter participants lingered, waving flags and received no attention from the riot gear police nor those officers on horseback endangering protesters.

WARNING: Strong Language

Saratoga Springs Public Safety Commissioner Robin Dalton released this statement:

NO tear gas or rubber bullets were used by the Saratoga Springs Police Department during last night’s protest. No injuries were reported, 3 arrests were made.
