SARATOGA SPRINGS - When restaurants were told they could only do takeout and delivery, most gave it a shot. Others closed their doors, turned their ovens off - and crossed their fingers.
In just the last couple of weeks, some of them have fired things back up - albeit with a few changes. That includes Three Vines Bistro in Saratoga Springs, where owners say they're ready to once again open for business.
Joseph Krason - owner of Three Vines Bistro, was patient and hopeful that restrictions would loosen up enough to let him and his staff get back to work. On June 2, they did just that - churning out their specialties.
They are known for meatballs calamari crusted chicken, but have also added daily family-style specials.
For those who want to pick it up now but eat it later, they offer take and bake options.
If you're looking to order dinner and entertain the kids, you can pick up one of their pizza or pasta kits - some assembly required.
They do liquor to go, mixed drinks served in mason jars, bottles of wine - and even canned varieties from old tavern farm wines.
They are also trying outdoor dining – but only have four tables.
