Ballston Spa - Saratoga County honored four men who saved another man from drowning.

On January 31, Ed Fitzgerald went snowmobiling on Sacandaga Lake when he ended up on a spot of the lake that was too thin for his snowmobile, and he went in.

He was treading water for about thirty to forty-five minutes before rescuers were able to get to him.

On Tuesday, the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors honored four county employees for the rescue.

Jeff Gray, Rob Crist, Preston Allen Jr., and Aaron Colvin all pitched in to rescue Fitzgerald out of the frigid water.
