Two minors from Schenectady were arrested and facing charges after a police chase according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

Police say a 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy stole a vehicle then drove into Saratoga County, leading a chase that ended in a crash in Clifton Park.

During the investigation, police say they discovered that the 17-year-old broke into a home and stole another vehicle in Charlton earlier this month.

The 15-year-old was processed and released to his mother. He will return to Saratoga County Family Court at a later date.

The 17-year-old, who was treated for minor injuries because of the crash, was remanded to the Capital District Secure Detention and will be in Saratoga County Court at a later date.
