Weekend stabbing in South Glens Falls was dispute over drugs

NewsChannel 13 has learned that the stabbing Saturday night in South Glens Falls was a dispute over drugs.

Isaiah Lofland, 26, is accused of stabbing Norman Himes inside a home at 189 Main St. in the village.

Himes was rushed to Glens Falls Hospital for emergency surgery and is expected to be okay.

After nearly 24 hours of looking for Lofland, state police found him hiding out in a friend’s trailer home on Fortsville Road in Moreau.

Lofland’s charged with first-degree assault and is being held at the Saratoga County Jail.
