Wilton Travel Plaza receives donation for truckers

WILTON- You may remember a NewsChannel 13 story about a truck stop and restaurant in Wilton that were staying open to make sure truckers could get a bite to eat.    

The owner of the Wilton Travel Plaza and Scotty’s Restaurant says people saw the story on NewsChannel 13 and wanted to help out.

A few people in Saratoga County who wanted to remain anonymous—donated $600.     

Scotty’s put the money toward drivers' bills and 108 people each got 25 percent off.
