Bike rider killed in Schenectady crash

Schenectady police are investigating after a bicyclist was hit and killed.
It happened around 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the area of State and Lafayette streets. Police say a 56-year-old man was riding his bike when he was hit by a car.
They say the car left the scene, but was later located. Police say the driver is cooperating with the investigation.
