The New York Attorney General has completed her investigation into an officer involved shooting in Schenectady last year.
Letisha James says the officers were justified in their actions.
Michael Wallace died on March 24 last year when officers responded to a call that Wallace had pulled a gun on an employee at an apartment complex.
The report says when officers arrived, they kicked the door and announced their presence.
Then the door swung open and Wallace appeared, and it looked like he was pointing a pistol at them, so they opened fire.
It turned out to be a pellet gun. However, the attorney general's report says it was reasonable for the officers to believe deadly physical force was necessary.
