The younger generation was demanding change in Niskayuna Sunday afternoon.

More than 100 demonstrators marched from Van Antwerp Middle School to Niskayuna Town Hall.

The organizers were all teenagers; the crowd was demographic and diverse.

It was a Black Lives Matter event held in conjunction with the LGBTQ community.

The intent, was to liberate the members of those communities and all communities they they feel are treated as second class citizens.

Several marchers spoke at town hall about their personal experiences, hoping to open a dialog that will lead to positive change in the community.
