Several members of the 1980 U.S. Olympic team were arriving in the Capital Region on Monday. They're taking part in Lake Placid's 40th anniversary celebration of the Winter Olympics.

They were legendary games and it was the year of "Miracle on Ice."

Figure skaters from the team include David Santee, Caitlin "Kitty" Carruthers - who finished fifth, and Tai Babilonia.

Once they get to Lake Placid, they're participating in an event called "Skate to Eliminate Cancer." It's for the Scott Hamilton Cares Foundation.
