Ballston Spa wins program's first ever state championship

The Ballston Spa baseball team won the program's first ever state championship on Saturday, 13-6 over Maine-Endwell in the Class A championship game.  The Scotties got contributions from up and down the lineup including a homerun and triple from Chance Checca.  Michael Poirier went 6.1 innings in the victory.  See highlights and post-game reaction here.
