Coaches versus Cancer Basket "Ball" returns to Capital Region

The Coaches versus Cancer Basket "Ball" returned to the Albany Capital Center on Monday night after missing a year due to the pandemic. As always Siena and UAlbany men’s basketball coaches Carmen Maciariello and Dwayne Killings were part of the event. Incoming Duke men’s basketball coach John Scheyer was presented with the Champion of Hope Award. City Rocks President Jim Hart was given the Inspiration Award and Guilderland’s Jenna Meier was honored with the Mary Ann Raymond Donnelly Fighting Spirit Award. The event has raised more than $2.5 million over the years.
