Columbia grad Kevin Smith prepares for new season with Blue Jays organization

Columbia grad and Maryland standout Kevin Smith is preparing for another season with the Toronto Blue Jays organization.  The fourth round pick turned heads in his first season, hitting 25 home runs, 93 RBI and 29 stolen bases in 129 games between Class A Lansing and High-A Dunedin.  Smith was one of only six players in the minors last season to hit more than 20 home runs and steal 20 bases.  He's currently at spring training in Dunedin getting ready for his second season.
