Empire makes statement with 72-27 win over Philadelphia to end regular season

The Albany Empire made a statement with a 72-27 win over Philadelphia on Saturday night at the Times Union Center in the regular season finale.  Defensive back Cheatham Norrils had a breakout game with three interceptions, all in the second half.  DJ Stephens had two touchdown receptions in his first game back in more than a month from a hamstring injury.  Albany already had the #1 seed locked up for the postseason coming into the game and will host Baltimore next weekend in the first round of the AFL playoffs.  See highlights and post-game reaction here.
