Fields returns and helps UAlbany advance to NCAA quarterfinals with 18-9 rout of Richmond

After missing the America East championship game with a knee injury, senior Connor Fields returned to help lead the UAlbany men's lacrosse team past Richmond 18-9 in their first round NCAA Tournament game.  Fields had 2 goals and 5 assists for the Great Danes.  UAlbany started the game on a 4-0 run before trading blows with the Spiders for most of the way.  UAlbany finishes the game on a 7-1 run to blow it open.  Freshman Tehoka Nanticoke finished with 4 goals and 2 assists.  The Danes will play the winner of Notre Dame and Denver in the quarterfinals.
