NYRA holds off discussion on expanded Saratoga racing season

There's new information about the proposal to expand the racing season at Saratoga Race Course. The NYRA Board of Directors met and decided not to discuss the issue.

As NewsChannel 13 reported last month, NYRA is considering starting the meet earlier in July, still going through Labor Day. However, there will be two dark days each week instead of one.

NYRA tells NewsChannel 13 in a statement they will release the 2019 calendar when they're finalized.
