Offense on display in Siena's season opening win to start Maciariello era

The Siena men's basketball team put up 96 points in a win over American Tuesday night, the most in a season opener since the 1984-85 season.  Nine Saints got in the scoring column to help earn Siena grad Carmen Maciariello his first head coaching win at his alma mater.  Preseason MAAC player of the year Jalen Pickett led the Saints with 22 points, while newcomers Don Carey and La Salle grad Elijah Burns added 17 and 19 points respectively.  Next, Siena travels to take on nationally ranked Xavier on Friday.  See highlights and post-game reaction here.
