Trainers and jockeys are praising NYRA for the decision to cancel racing at Saratoga Race Course on Saturday.

This is the first time in 13 years NYRA has cancelled the races due to extreme heat.

The actual temperature is expected to be in the 90s. However, the humidity is expected to make it feel like it's well over 100 degrees.

Right now, racing is expected to resume on Sunday.

Hear from one of the trainers who says he has no doubt NYRA made the right call, by watching the video of Brooke Selby's story.
