Troy grads Dev Holmes and Joe Casale are contributing as freshman at UAlbany after injuries to players at their respective positions.  Holmes has been taking reps with the first team at slot receiver after CBA grad Austin Ellis went down with a torn ACL.  Fellow Flying Horse Joe Casale might still redshirt this season, but could also contribute more than expected after an injury to backup safety Damon Burton.  The two are taking advantage of any time on the field for the Danes and studying the play book to ensure they are at their best.
