Whitehall captures first state title in 35 years

The Whitehall baseball team captured the program's first state title in 35 years on Saturday with a 12-1 win over Brocton in the Class D state championship game.  It's the Railroaders' first state title since 1984.  Austin Barnao led Whitehall with 6 RBI on a day when he went 4 for 4 from the plate.  Thomas Fish was the winning pitcher for the Railroaders.  See highlights and post-game reaction here.
